So are you better than others?

So when a blog is anonymous and you come and sign in with your name every time (which just happens to advertise your own blog and all the media crap you have going on with podcast) are you better than all the other posters that are all just anonymous? Really why would one person think that they can sign in and post to an anonymous blog with their name?

I think, while it might not be their intention, it is a way to show they are superior than the other posters because they do post their names. There are several posters that post their "screen" name on their post. So are they better than others because they also post their name? I think they think they are. Sure they could sign their name to posts that are all rosy and sunshine, but than go anonymous on postings that aren't so sweet and innocent.

So Guess Who posted tonight a new post about not moderating the blog because she feels all posters should have a say. So lately they feel they have the right to post such great things. Here are just a few samplings from today:

Okay Twat. You work on not being a pearl clutching bitch. mediagirl

Gee don't they make you proud to know as fellow smackers you associate with them?

hey fucking bitch, i love those slabs from HL!! so there, go fuck off bitch-ass white trash!Stick a slab up your ass bitch. You couldn't make it any uglier even if it came out your ass.

So what makes a spammer?

So today there was someone spamming on the blog. So it got me thinking about why someone spams a blog. On the smack blog there seems to be several different spammers. Some of them have been talking about what bothers them about the blog. So last night one seemed to be really upset about the language, while another one (or several) seem to be upset about the way innocent people are treated. I have to agree with all the spammers. I do think the language is way over the top on the blog, I also think that ruining peoples personal lives is just not okay.

There has been a lot of talk lately about CM and the fact that she is grieving since the death of her husband and spending money like crazy and posting about it on her blog. The fact that she posts this seems to send many on the blog into a frenzy. I personally think it is her own personal blog and it isn't my business how she spends her money or what she does. Just as it isn't anyone's business what I choose to do with my life, even if I do post it on my personal blog.

So what makes someone go from smacker to spammer? What is the point when one gets so tired of hearing people called bitch, cunt or whore? When do they get tired of someones child get called ugly.

Guess who posted last night that the blog becomes whatever you focus on. So is it true that seeing people smacked for no reason along with all the filth language is all I am seeing on the blog? I do see some posts that are great. Yesterday the praise about SH blog post, the review of the current scrapbook magazines, and even the post about TC missing her class while she waited in the airport for 6 hours only feet away from the shuttle taking everyone to the scrapbook event where her class was held. These are all great posts. The sad thing is the number of regular scrapbook related posts to those that are smacking personal lives and using the filthy language with name calling and slams against another poster are very few and far between. I would guess the ratio to be somewhere in the range of 1 to 10.

Don't you just love how they talk to each other?

So Hey Bitch Girl what are you? smacker or spammer I can't tell you seem to be nasty to everybody..

Everyone is a bitch over on the smack blog. I have to wonder what kind of person calls other people "bitch" all the time. Are they trying to be hip and cool, or do they just feel that they are better than everyone so calling them bitch gives them that feeling of being better. Just a little bit of control over someone. Smackers seem to think they are better than everyone else over there.

The problem is you have to think exactly like they do or you are stupid or a dumbass. Those are words you here used all the time over on the smack blog. Just a few examples.

(For the apparent newbie, idoit is spelled in that manner on purpose. It's a smack thing. Don't question it.)

I can't believe all the fucking idiots with their ARMs going up and crying they didn't know! DONT YOU KNOW YOUR SHIT ASS CREDIT IS WHAT PUT YOU THERE TO BEGIN WITH? You should have stayed in your sleazy apartment rather than take on a mortgage you couldn't afford. Everyone knows an adjustable rate mortgage will go up and if you lose your house now, TOO FUCKING BAD! *You have to love that one and it was a response to a lady who was basically talking about the value of her home is lower now than when she bought it and that it she actually owes more on it than it is worth. She didn't mention anywhere in her post that she isn't making her payments. She was just talking about how the economy is hurting the value of house prices.

I am so disappointed in what the smack blog has become. I went back and ready old comments from a year ago today just to see if it was me who has changed in my thinking of the blog. So I went back to the archives to research it a little bit. One thing I noticed is there weren't words posted like "Fuck" "bitch" "dumbass" you just see a lot of good conversation going on in the comments about scrapbook related stuff. You don't see people calling each other stupid or idiot on every other post like you do in the blog now. You can't read today's comments without coming across almost every swear word out there. For grown women to call each other cunts and whores is just so demeaning to women. These are grown women, some married, some with children, some in our workforce. These are the women raising our future generations, but yet they talk to each other like this just because they can under the anonymous posts. Do you think they talk like this to adults in their daily lives? I think not, but on here they can be the mean catty people they are.

Have you ever read the Smack Blog created by guess who? http://scrapsmack.blogspot.com/

Seriously go check it out you will be amazed at just how rude those women are. The blog used to be fun to read. But in the last several months it has become a place where women just attack and torture each other with their grammer, spelling, language and just trash talk. They pick on scrapbookers and tear their personal lives apart. They comment on how ugly their kids are, or how much money they are spending after the death of a husband. They just don't get how destructive their behavior is. They are ruining the lives of individuals that just want to scrapbook and share their work.

The Smackers think they are better than the people they tear apart because they say their scrapbook layouts are better quality, or they don't share their lives with others. While I am sure many of them do have their own blogs, they just aren't popular enough that people go read their blogs. They are jealous that their are scrapbookers out there that do have blogs people read. I while share here posts from the blog that demonstrate just how destructive that blog really is.
